lyrics
Through time, the plague has evolved
Into different forms
Here, the newest of all
You, the skull drawing rose
You, the woman I loved
You, the skull drawing rose
Her pale face is hiding
Her dark thoughts, what a devilish choice
She was the queen I was looking for
And how not to fall in the trap of love
You’re a distant dream, my metaphor of love
You are the skull drawing rose
You are my metaphor of pain
You are the skull drawing rose
You are my metaphor of love
Roses need the Sun
Roses need the Earth
You don’t need the Sun, the Earth
The plague, you
Transgenic modern energy
Transgenic art, transgenic youth
You can grow in a prison cell
The plague, you
Paint the skull, paint the skull
Paint the skull, paint my head
Paint the skull, paint the skull
Paint the skull, love is dead
How not to fall in the trap of love
You’re a distant dream
My metaphor of pain
You are the skull drawing rose
You are my metaphor of love
You are the skull drawing rose
You are my metaphor of pain
Paint the skull, paint the skull
Paint the skull, paint my head
Paint the skull, paint the skull
Paint the skull, love is dead
How not to fall in the trap of love
Cause you are and were
The skull drawing rose
You are the skull drawing rose
You are the nightmare of my dreams
You are the skull drawing rose
You are and were my skull drawing rose
Through time, the plague has evolved
Into different forms
Here, the newest of all
You, the skull drawing rose
Paint the skull, paint the skull
Paint the skull, love is dead
Dirty Sound Magnet Influenced as much by western psychedelia as by eastern mysticism, the power trio is bound to bring some fresh air to music lovers of the 21st century.

This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all. potaytoes
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016
The Brooklyn band deliver a blissful psychedelic rock album steeped in sci-fi and spirituality, awash with organs, strings, and reverb. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 23, 2021

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
